Meet Arlene who switches from being Secretary (2006-2008) for the Deanery Board to Organization Services Commission chair (2008-2010). In 2002-2004 Arlene was new to the Deanery Board and served as OSC chair and then as Deanery Vice-President from 2004-2006.

Her experience at St. James the Apostle Church in Glen Ellyn includes serving as a lector, secretary of Worship Commission Board, member of the Parish Council and member of the New Church Building Advisory Committee, CCW Vice-President, CCW President and currently as Immediate Past President.

Remain positive. Your vision, mission and actions lead to the work you do. It is important. The women with whom you share your goals and tasks are the best! Continue to move forward in your leadership roles. Seek positive women to join you.

The ladies of Council of Catholic Women are vital to the church of Jesus Christ with roles to do, as well as to invite others to do also. We can’t do it all, all by ourselves so by being welcoming and friendly, kind and encouraging, we can light fires under our women so together we make a difference.
