I’ve heard the ladies of St. Matthew have had fashion shows annually for twenty or more years! I consider them the experts in organizing such an event.

A different twist on Fashion Shows:

While attending West Will’s February Frolic I heard from Linea Warda ( JDCCW officer) about some ideas used at St. Pius in Lombard that included using bridesmaid dresses the ladies actually wore in weddings and bridal gowns that were actually worn by CCW members in the past. These were modeled by some of the younger women now. They tried to have one dress per decade with about ten in all. Research was done and shared about wedding customs in those decades. Cake and coffee were served afterward. She also mentioned fashions featuring handmade clothing (not wedding related this time).

Women are so clever and creative and fun!
